The news has been awesome lately. Here my favorites stories of '08:
1. OUR ZOO'S A MESS. As Chris Rock once said, "That tiger didn't go crazy...the tiger went tiger!" Man, what a mess this is. Sure, it's terrible that these guys had to experience the food chain first hand, but there is some fishy business about all of this. The brothers' silence sure is loud, isn't it? What's even louder is the paramedic's claim that Kulbir told his younger brother, "Don't tell them what we did." Now blood has been found inside the enclosure. It's driving me crazy. In addition to all of this, a zebra and a tree frog died, making three dead animals in three weeks...not to mention a dead teenager. Madness, I tell ya, madness!
(Check out Tatiana's Yelp page.)
2. MICROWAVING THE BEAST. A man in Idaho woke up and thought his hand was marked with the number of the beast. So naturally, he cut off the possessed hand with a circular saw. Then, of course, he put in the microwave and cooked it.
3. THE EXCITING ELECTION. There is something exciting, etc, etc, read the previous post.
4. BRITNEY IS DEAD...INSIDE. I don't feel like writing about this.
5. WRITER'S STILL STRIKE. Golden Globes Awards Show was cancelled and turned into an episode of Entertainment Tonight. This might have been the worst thing I've ever seen. Plus, Atonement won best Drama. What a disappointing night. I also just read that the DGA just reached a three year deal with producers. Don't know if this will affect the writer's situation, but we'll see what happens.
If the news is this fun all year, 2008 just might be the best year ever.
